It is unavoidable at times to find homes with unappealing features. There can be many reasons for this like dilapidation or bad choice of color.

This is especially pervasive with regards to rental properties because the occupants usually do not have a say when looks are concerned. Luckily there are ways on how to organize your home through the art of camouflage. We explore the clever ways on how this can be achieved.

You can make your surroundings more pleasing on how to organize your home using concealment tactics. There are many other methods of concealment waiting to be explored and only your imagination is the limit. For example, a two drawer file cabinet can be used to store not only documents, but small items as well.

Walls are often victim to stresses ranging from large cracks to holes. Maybe some former inebriated tenant threw his bowling ball at it, we may never know. This is simply unappealing if you happen to be the next resident. You can cover nasty looking cracks and gashes by hanging a picture over it. If a picture seems to be out of place, why not put a plant near a wall to conceal it? Plants suit any area whilst providing a lush nature look.

If you live in a run-down area and simply tire of the way the neighborhood looks then you can conceal it by employing nice curtains or by having plants near the windows. You will feel more relaxed looking at the gentle leaves rather than the dreary surroundings.

These methods are just waiting to be explored and only your imagination is the limit to the things you can do.

Of course the easy way would be to fix the eyesores but that costs a lot of money. If you are just renting, you may have to ask your landlord if you can make some changes to your place.
