This has evolved the manual manner into an electric driven process. It makes everything easy and precise. You can place this in your kitchen and it is not messy to look at. However, the difference is, food processors can be adjusted, the blades can be changed to appropriately fit the process. Usually, in blenders, there is a need to place a small amount of water to make the food smooth. In food processors, there’s no need to add any amount of liquid, it can work without it.
If you wonder who started this type of technology in the kitchen, a French man named Pierre Verdun initiated everything. He saw the time wasted and the long wait given to the customers because everything has to be done manually. He made simple equipment. It has a bowl and a blade revolving at the base. After few years, Robert-Coupe made the first commercial food processor and it started to hit the market. This is a great help especially in companies or establishments that processes bulks of preparations and are given a short period of time. These items usually functions as a slicer or chopper of vegetables, grinder of items like nuts, meat, dried foods and seeds, shredder or cheese grater, pureeing, mixer. These can also be use in kneading dough and it can create a good consistency.
The use of this depends on the number of items to be process, you can choose from different equipments since they are usually customized.
