Distinguishing No Show Socks From Crew Socks

When people understand the usefulness of socks, the popularity of socks continues to increase through the years. As the demand for socks increase, many manufacturers will come up with new designs and styles to meet customers need.

Socks can be found in tons of different designs made for different purposes. Just searching around you’ll find socks like no show socks, crew socks, thermal socks and even baby socks. Each of these socks is made for a specific purpose that needs to be understood before purchasing. The main focus is to distinguish between no show socks and crew socks.

No show socks are socks that can’t be seen when wearing your everyday shoes. These socks are good for just protecting your feet and nothing else passes the ankle part of your leg. These socks will be perfect for hot days where you still want to wear shoes and not have to worry about covering any part of your legs with long socks. Crew socks are socks that actually go up to the mid calf area which is better to wear during the colder weather seasons rather than no show socks. Since no show socks won’t provide warmth for the legs during cold days.

For formal occasions that require wearing dress pants, crew socks are a much better choice. You wouldn’t want no show socks because if you’re sitting down and people are able to see the skin off your legs, it will be kind of odd. Crew socks can be found in a variety of colors, patterns and designs. You have a better chance in coordinating these socks to match with your outfits than no show socks. No show socks can also be found in many different colors and patterns but it wouldn’t matter whether you’re matching them with your clothes or not because no one would be able to see your socks unless you take off your shoes. Both socks are great for their own purpose and deciding to pick between the two will depend on the special occasion itself.
