Redecorating the bathroom does not have to be a matter of costly and time consuming replacement of sinks, tubs, and tile. Instead, you can save your back and your budget by brightening up the bathroom with new towels, bath mats and shower curtains.
These relatively inexpensive items bring new life to a room.
When choosing towels, look to online sources such as shopping catalogues or to more specialist stores such as Littlewoods Direct. They offer a wide selection of styles, colors and materials. You can emulate the look of a luxury spa with crisp white towels. Keep in mind fabric choices. Heavyweight cotton towels will make you and your guests feel pampered. To complete the look, add a cozy guest bathrobe to hang on the back of the door.
You may want to brighten up an old-fashioned bathroom. If so, select towels in bold, vibrant colors. Keep in mind that they do not have to all be of the same color. Contrasting colors such as hot pink and lemon yellow will add lots of zip to the room in an artistic manner. You can pull together many other themed looks. For a bathroom used mostly by the children, choose whimsical towels that feature their favorite action heroes or cartoon characters. As an option for the kids, you could decorate their bathroom with patterned towels in bright colors and add a matching shower curtain. A sea theme is easy to create. So is that of a happy summer’s afternoon with flowers, sunbursts, and butterflies there to delight on towels and curtains.
When redoing the master bath, consider installing a second towel bar so that you can display more of your beautiful new towels. Towels with extra detailing such as braided edges or embroidery will introduce an elegant note. Try matching the bathroom towels to color elements in the master bedroom so the entire suite feels cohesive. Shopping online will present you with a wide range of beautiful, playful options so that you can smarten up your bathroom for little money.
